You may have noticed that I include a quote with each blog post. For me, words have power so including uplifting and motivating quotes warms my heart. When selecting quotes, I aim to select a quote that will help promote a positive mindset. Oftentimes, motivation is thought of being internal because you are doing something that internally fulfilling or enjoyable. When I think of defining motivation in my own words, I would say what gets you moving to improve, excel, or put forth some extra effort. While I tend to be a pretty positive person most of the time, there are times, when I need some extra support. When I scrolling through Instagram, I tend to seek out and follow those accounts that give me that extra support or motivation for positive thoughts and encouragement. Here are 5 Instagram accounts, I follow and often review for added motivation.

You can find a mix of encouraging quotes, provoking questions, and information on crystals. I recently got into crystals, and I’m excited to check out her book Crystal Bliss. She has various self-care challenges and a podcast as well.

Rather than scrolling through the posts and stories, make sure you check out the post descriptions because she drops tons of nuggets of added positivity and encouragement to get you motivated and energized. Also, her hashtag, #whatareyougratefulfor, is my reminder to think of at least 3 things to be grateful for each day. These are just a handful of the accounts that I follow to give me that added motivation. I encourage you to follow them as well as seek out those accounts that motivate you for self-development, physical fitness, nutrition or any other area where you need to get motivated.
